What local SEO brings

More customers from around the corner

Local search is where people decide where to eat, stay, shop or call today.

  1. A complete profile on Google Maps

Your Google Business Profile shows the right hours, photos, services, prices and booking links, so people can choose you without leaving the map.

  2. Calls, directions and bookings you can count

We track the calls, direction requests and website visits that come from your profile, so you see what local search brings in.

  3. Reviews that build trust

A simple routine to ask happy customers for a review, and a polite, personal reply to every review, good or bad.

  4. The same facts everywhere

Your name, address and phone number match on Google, Apple Maps, Bing, TripAdvisor and the directories people use in Vietnam and the Netherlands.

  5. A page for every location

A clear page for each location or area you serve, with the address, opening hours, directions and the questions locals ask.

  6. Named when people ask AI nearby

When someone asks ChatGPT or Google’s AI for a good place nearby, the answer draws on profiles, reviews and listings. We make yours clear and consistent.

Local SEO explained

What puts a business in the map results

What are local SEO services?

Local SEO services help your business appear when people nearby search for what you offer. Think of “Italian restaurant Hanoi Old Quarter”, “furniture showroom near me” or “boutique hotel Hoi An”. For these searches, Google shows a map with three businesses before the regular results, and AI assistants answer with a short list of names. Local SEO is the work that puts your business in those places.

What decides who shows up on Google Maps?

Google says it ranks local results on three things: relevance, distance and prominence.

  • Relevance: how well your profile matches the search. The right main category, your services and a clear description all count.
  • Distance: how far you are from the person searching, or from the place in their search. You can’t change this one.
  • Prominence: how well known and trusted you are. Reviews, links and mentions on other sites, and the strength of your website all play a part.

So the work is clear: make your profile complete and correct, earn steady reviews, and make sure the rest of the web tells the same story about you.

What do we do in a local SEO project?

  • Google Business Profile: the free listing that shows on Google Maps and Search. We fill in every field, add good photos, set booking and menu links, and keep it current. More on our Google Business Profile service.
  • Local citations: mentions of your business name, address and phone number on other sites, such as directories, maps apps and tourism boards. We make them match everywhere.
  • Reviews: a routine to ask for reviews at the right moment, and replies that sound like you.
  • Location pages: a page on your website for each location or area, with directions, opening hours and answers to local questions.
  • Tracking: calls, direction requests and bookings from your profile, reported every month.

Behind the scenes, a fast website with clean structured data (schema.org code that labels your address and opening hours) helps too. That part is technical SEO.

Local SEO in Vietnam and the Netherlands

We work from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and our founder is Dutch. In Vietnam, customers search in Vietnamese and English and check Google Maps, Facebook and food platforms before they visit. In the Netherlands, people compare reviews carefully and expect correct opening hours. We write each profile and page in the language of the people searching, not as a translation.

How we work on local SEO

Four steps to local visibility

  1. 1

    Local audit

We check your Google Business Profile, map listings, reviews and local rankings in the areas you serve, and look at which businesses customers see next to you.

  2. 2

    Fix the facts

We complete your profile, correct your name, address and phone number across directories, and add the categories, services, photos and booking links that are missing.

  3. 3

    Local pages and reviews

We write or improve a page for each location and set up a review routine your team can keep up.

  4. 4

    Monthly upkeep and report

We post updates, answer questions on your profile, reply to reviews with you, and report calls, directions and bookings every month.

What are local SEO services?

Local SEO services are the work that helps a business show up when people nearby search for what it offers: on Google Maps, in the local results and in AI answers. They cover your Google Business Profile, reviews, listings in directories and the location pages on your website.

How much do local SEO services cost?

It depends on the number of locations and how much needs fixing. The first setup and the monthly upkeep are priced separately, and you get a fixed quote after a free call.

How long does local SEO take to show results?

Fixing your profile and listings is quick work, but Google needs time to process the changes, and reviews build up over months. Changes to your listings often show within weeks, and fuller results usually take 3–6 months. We report every month, so you can see what changes.

How do I rank higher on Google Maps?

Google ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence. You can’t change your distance to the searcher, but you can make your profile complete and accurate, collect reviews steadily, keep your facts the same across the web and give each location a strong page. That is the work we do.

Do you offer local SEO in Vietnam?

Yes. We work from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and know the platforms Vietnamese customers use, such as Google Maps, Facebook and Foody. We write in Vietnamese with full diacritics, for the searches people make in Vietnamese.

Do you offer local SEO in the Netherlands?

Yes. Our founder is Dutch, and we write in Dutch for Dutch searches. We work on Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Dutch directories and reviews, for clients such as riske design & wonen.

What is the difference between local SEO and regular SEO?

Regular SEO helps your website rank for searches anywhere. Local SEO focuses on searches with a place in them or made nearby, like “coffee shop near me” or “dentist Utrecht”, where the map and your Google Business Profile matter most. Most local businesses need both.

Does local SEO help with AI assistants like ChatGPT?

Yes. When people ask an AI assistant for a good restaurant or hotel nearby, it draws on profiles, reviews and listings across the web. Consistent facts and steady reviews make it easier for AI to name you correctly. Read more about AI visibility (GEO).

Is local SEO different for hotels?

Yes, hotels have extra work: room facts, prices in Google’s hotel results, and reviews on TripAdvisor and booking sites. We cover that on our page about local SEO for hotels.
