Ecommerce websites that make buying easy

Ecommerce website design is about two things: product pages that load fast and convince, and a checkout with as few steps as possible. We design online shops that do both, work well on a phone, can be found on Google and in AI answers, and are easy for your team to run.

What your shop gets

A shop that's quick to use

Every extra second and every extra form field gives a customer a reason to leave, so we take out what isn't needed.

  1. Product pages that load fast

Photos, prices and stock appear quickly, even on a phone with a weak connection. We aim for 90+ on Google's Lighthouse test on mobile, for performance, accessibility, SEO and best practices.

  2. A checkout with fewer steps

Guest checkout, the payment methods your customers already use and clear delivery costs before the last step.

  3. Products found on Google and in AI answers

Product structured data gives Google and AI assistants the name, price, stock and reviews of each product.

  4. Payments each market trusts

We plan payment methods per market, for example iDEAL in the Netherlands, cards in the US and e-wallets in Vietnam. Providers we integrate include Mollie, Stripe and Adyen in the Netherlands, VNPay and MoMo in Vietnam, and Moyasar, HyperPay and Tap in Saudi Arabia.

  5. Products your team manages

Add products, change prices and run a sale yourself, without a developer. We build on Shopify and WooCommerce, or a fast Astro front end with Shopify behind it.

  6. Clear sales numbers

Sales tracking shows which pages, ads and channels bring orders, so you can spend where it pays off.

Shops that sell

What an online shop needs first

Ecommerce website design turns a product range into a shop people find easy to buy from. Most of the design work goes into three places: the product page, the cart and the checkout. When those three are fast and clear, more visitors become customers.

What does an online shop need first?

Before colors and fonts, a shop needs clear product pages and a short checkout. A good product page shows large photos, the price, stock and delivery time, answers the main questions and has one obvious "Add to cart" button. A good checkout allows guest checkout, shows shipping costs early and offers the payment methods your customers already use.

Why does speed matter so much for a shop?

Because a slow page loses customers before they see the product. In a 2020 study for Google (Milliseconds Make Millions), Deloitte found that a mobile site that loaded 0.1 seconds faster saw 8.4% more conversions in retail. We keep product pages light, with optimized images, little JavaScript and fast hosting.

Which ecommerce platform is right for you?

It depends on your products, your markets and who runs the shop. A small catalog with a few payment methods needs something different from thousands of products connected to a warehouse. We build on Shopify and WooCommerce, or a fast Astro front end with Shopify behind it, and recommend one after the first call with our reasons. Our article Shopify vs WooCommerce compares two common choices.

How do customers find your products?

Through Google, through AI assistants and through your own marketing. Product structured data (schema.org) tells search engines and AI assistants the name, price, availability and reviews of each product, which helps them show it correctly. Category pages written around real search phrases bring visitors who are ready to buy. Read how we drive relevant traffic to ecommerce websites, or see our SEO service.

Can one shop sell to several countries?

Yes, when each market feels local. That means the language written natively, prices in the local currency, payment methods people trust there and clear delivery and return rules. We work in English, Vietnamese, Dutch, Arabic, German and Russian, so each market can get its own version. See multilingual website design.

What happens after launch?

The work moves to small, steady improvements: testing product page layouts, adding reviews, improving category pages and keeping everything fast and secure. Our hosting and care covers the technical side, with updates, backups, monitoring and a set number of changes each month, and landing pages help with seasonal sales and campaigns.

Good product photos make every one of these steps easier. Our photography service can plan them together with the shop.

Planning a shop

From product list to first order

  1. 1

    Products and platform

In a free call we look at your products, markets, payments and stock systems, and recommend a platform: Shopify, WooCommerce, or an Astro front end with Shopify. You get a fixed quote.

  2. 2

    Design the buying path

We design the product page, the cart and the checkout first, in Figma, because that's where the sale happens. The other pages follow.

  3. 3

    Build, connect and fill

We build the shop, connect payments, shipping and order emails, and import your products with photos and descriptions.

  4. 4

    Test every order

We place test orders on phone and desktop, check speed and structured data, then go live and watch the first real orders closely.

Online shop questions

What shop owners ask before building

A person using a phone and a laptop at a desk
How much does an ecommerce website cost?

It depends on the number of products, languages and payment methods, and on connections to stock or accounting systems. Shops are part of our Custom package, planned with you. You get a fixed quote after a free 45-minute call.

Which ecommerce platform do you build on?

We choose the platform per project, based on your products, your markets and who will run the shop day to day. We build on Shopify and WooCommerce, or a fast Astro front end with Shopify running the shop behind it, and we connect Lightspeed through its API. For a comparison of two common options, read Shopify vs WooCommerce.

How long does it take to build an online shop?

A shop takes longer than a business website, because products, payments and shipping all need to be set up and tested. A shop typically takes 4–8 weeks; larger catalogs or integrations take 10–16 weeks. We plan the timeline with you after the first call.

Which payment methods can my customers use?

The ones they already trust in their market, such as cards, PayPal, iDEAL in the Netherlands or e-wallets in Vietnam. We integrate VNPay, MoMo, OnePay, VietQR and cash on delivery in Vietnam, Mollie, Stripe and Adyen (iDEAL, Wero and cards) in the Netherlands, and Moyasar, HyperPay, Tap and PayTabs (mada, Apple Pay and STC Pay) in Saudi Arabia, plus Tabby and Tamara. What's available depends on your platform and payment provider.

Can I manage products and orders myself?

Yes. You add products, change prices, run discounts and handle orders yourself, without code.

Will my products appear in Google Shopping?

Product structured data and a product feed in Google Merchant Center are the basis for Google's free shopping listings and Shopping ads. We build product pages with that data in place, and we set up Google Merchant Center as well as Meta, TikTok and Snapchat catalogs and pixels.

Can my shop sell in several languages and currencies?

Yes, with each language written natively and prices shown in the right currency for each market. See multilingual website design for how we handle languages. Shopify Markets and WooCommerce (with WPML or Aelia) both support several currencies.

Can you redesign my existing online shop?

Yes, and we also move shops to a new platform. We look at what works today, keep your product URLs or redirect them so you keep your search traffic, and improve the product pages and checkout.

Do you also take product photos?

Yes. Our photography service covers product photos, so the shop and the images can be planned together.
