Hotjar also sets a few short-lived cookies that check whether your browser accepts cookies and whether the visit is included in its sample. They expire within 30 minutes or when you close the browser.

Videos in our articles
Some articles show YouTube videos. They load from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which doesn't use YouTube cookies to track you until you play a video. When you play one, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
Changing your choice
- On this website: click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page and choose again. If you decline after accepting, the analytics tools stop from the next page on.
- In your browser: you can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you delete them, the website forgets your choice and asks again.
- Google Analytics everywhere: Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics on all websites.
