Show it in 3D before it exists

A 3D commercial video is an animated film built from 3D models instead of camera footage. It shows a product from every angle, explains how it works inside, or walks viewers through a building, room or resort before it is finished. We model, animate and render it, then cut it for your website, ads and social media.

Why brands choose 3D

What 3D makes possible

3D shows what a camera can't: the inside, the not-yet-built and the impossible angle.

  1. Start selling before you build

    Show buyers, guests and investors a building, room or resort while it is still on paper, so sales can start early.

  2. Products explained in seconds

    Exploded views and cutaways show how a product works and what's inside, faster than reading a manual.

  3. No studio, no samples, no weather

    Everything is made from drawings or CAD files, so you don't need a finished product, a location or a sunny day.

  4. Every color and variant

    Change a material, color or finish in the model and render a new version, instead of shooting each one again.

  5. Stills and video from one model

    The same model gives you images for your website, catalog and ads, plus animations for social media.

  6. Ready for every screen

    Wide versions for your website and presentations, square and vertical cuts for social media and ads, and stills for print.

About 3D video

3D animation, in plain words

A 3D commercial video uses computer-made 3D models, instead of a camera, to show a product, building or space in motion. Atelier ATTENTION makes 3D product animation, architectural and interior walkthroughs, and 3D shots for ads and social media, for brands, developers and hotels.

What can a 3D commercial video show?

  • 3D product animation: a product turning, opening or assembling itself, or an exploded view of what's inside.
  • Architectural visualization: a building, resort or villa project in its real setting, at any time of day.
  • Interior visualization: rooms, lobbies and showrooms with the real materials and furniture, before the fit-out is finished.
  • Walkthroughs: a calm camera path through a space, the way a guest or buyer would walk it.
  • 3D in live video: 3D shots, logos and titles mixed with filmed footage.

Who uses 3D product animation?

Manufacturers use it to explain how a product works and why it is built the way it is. Brands use it to launch a product before the first batch is made. Real estate developers, architects and interior designers use architectural visualization to sell projects that are still on paper.

Hotels use walkthroughs before opening, to start sales early and to show investors what they are building; see our hotel opening strategy. Furniture and interior brands can show a new collection in a styled room before it reaches the showroom.

When should you choose 3D over filming?

Choose 3D when:

  • the product or building doesn't exist yet;
  • you want to show the inside or how something works;
  • you have many colors, finishes or variants;
  • the product is very small, very large or hard to light;
  • you want the same look across a whole product range.

Filming is usually the better choice for real people, real places and emotion. Many campaigns use both: 3D for the product, video production for the people and the place, and commercial photography for stills.

How do you make a 3D video look real?

Realism comes from detail. Accurate measurements, materials that react to light like the real thing, and camera moves that feel natural make viewers forget they are watching an animation.

Before we animate, you approve still frames of the key scenes. Changes at that stage are quick, so the final film holds no surprises.

How do you use a 3D video after launch?

One 3D project gives you material for a long time:

  • a short loop for your website hero and product pages;
  • short cuts for ads, in square and vertical formats;
  • a longer version for trade fairs, showrooms and sales meetings;
  • high-resolution stills for catalogs, brochures and packaging.

Because the model stays, new colors, angles and versions can follow later. For how 3D fits next to photos, film and words, see content creation. If the visuals need a clear brand to sit in, start with branding and corporate identity.

How a 3D video is made

How a model becomes a film

  1. 1

    Goal and storyboard

    We agree on the audience, the message and where the video will run, then sketch every scene in a storyboard for you to approve.

  2. 2

    Modeling

    We build the product, building or interior in 3D from your CAD files, plans, photos or samples.

  3. 3

    Materials and light

    Textures, colors and lighting make the model look real. You approve still frames before we animate.

  4. 4

    Animation and rendering

    Camera moves, product movements and effects, rendered frame by frame in high resolution. You get 4K and Full HD files, plus 9:16 and 1:1 versions for social; rendering a 30-second animation takes about 1–3 days.

  5. 5

    Sound, edit and delivery

    Music, voice-over, titles and subtitles, then delivery in every format you need, with stills from the same scenes.

3D questions

Before you commission 3D animation

What is a 3D commercial video?

It is a marketing video made with 3D computer graphics instead of a camera. Products, buildings and interiors are modeled, given realistic materials and light, and animated, so you can show things that are hard or impossible to film.

What is 3D product animation used for?

Product launches, websites, online shops, trade fairs, sales presentations and ads. It is especially useful for products that are complex inside, still in development, or too small, large or valuable to film well.

How much does a 3D commercial video cost?

The price depends on the number of objects, the level of detail and realism, the length and the number of versions. You get a fixed quote after a free call.

How long does a 3D animation take to make?

Modeling and rendering take the most time, so having CAD files or clear drawings ready shortens the project. A 30-second product animation typically takes 3–5 weeks from brief to final film, including two revision rounds. We agree on the schedule before we start.

What do you need from us to start?

CAD or 3D files if you have them; otherwise drawings, measurements, photos or a sample. Plus your brand guidelines, the main message and where the video will be shown.

Is 3D better than filming a real product?

Not always. Filming is often quicker for products you can hold and places that already exist. 3D is the better choice when the product isn't finished, when you want to show the inside, or when you need many variants. Many campaigns combine both with video production.

Can you make a 3D walkthrough of a hotel or building that isn't finished?

Yes. From architectural plans and interior design drawings we create a walkthrough of rooms, lobby, pool and views, which you can use for pre-opening sales and investor presentations. See also our hotel opening strategy.

Can we reuse the 3D model later?

Yes. The model can produce new stills, angles, colors and animations for later campaigns, which saves time on every new version. After the project you own the final films and the 3D model, and we deliver the scene files on request.
